What made Halo special to me was its emotional core. The desire to explore and the bonds of friendship were integral to its appeal. This documentary delves deep into these concepts and explores how gaming incorporates the principles and pipeline of filmmaking, bringing them into the gaming realm. Personally, I yearned to immerse myself in the immense passion that fuels each project's creation.

Often, corporate video documentaries are created with a specific purpose in mind; whether it is to showcase a new feature or explain an exciting mechanic, their aim is to generate hype. However, somewhere along the way, the 'integrity' of the documentary format became compromised, resembling mad limbs rather than genuine expressions.

Halo, on the other hand, doesn't need to prove its importance to a generation. It has already accomplished that feat. During this historical period, it was the responsibility of 343 and Microsoft to demonstrate their ability to take over the franchise and preserve its legacy.

For me, it was crucial that this documentary felt authentic and effectively conveyed the meticulous thought process behind crafting compelling stories. This became our mission: to leave a lasting impact, evoke powerful emotions, and impart valuable information. We strived to intertwine these elements seamlessly, ensuring that the final product was easily comprehensible.
